These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts entered into by Leonard of London ("Leonard of London", "Sally Leonard", "we" or "us"). By using this website, or placing your order with us you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy, please do not continue to use this website.
Your use of this website and our products/services and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the local laws of United Kingdom.
fair use
Whilst our pieces are made to the highest quality, they still need looking after.​ This means that if you are going to do some heavy duty gardening, decorating or other activity that puts stress on your hands, please take your jewellery off first :)

Whilst we are confident in the quality of our crafstmanship, undue stress and wear on a piece will cause damage. Diamonds are the hardest natural substance known to man, but they are brittle and can become chipped or damaged if not worn with undue care. If your piece should become damaged, please contact us and we will do our best to help. However, if it is deemed that the damage has occured as a result of undue care, we may have to charge for the repair of said item.
caring for your jewellery
To keep it clean, add a drop of dishs oap to some warm water and use it with an old, soft toothbrush gently over your piece and through the stone settings to get the area under your stone clean. Make sure you dry it afterwards to minimise residue drying on the stones.

We recommend that you regularly get your rings professionally cleaned every 12-18 months; if you have purchased a bespoke item from us, please drop us a line within 18 months for a free check up and cleaning. If you are looking for a spruce up of other pieces, please get in touch and we will be happy to help!

returns and refunds
We hope you love your piece as much as we do, however if you are unhappy, please contact us. If we cannot help, you are able to return your piece to us for an exchange or refund
Returns of pieces purchased directly from our website can be accepted if they are returned, in unused conditio, and posted in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
For reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns on pierced earrings, or other items of piercing jewellery.
This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Please note: All our bespoke pieces are made to order and to customer specification to ensure the item you receive is exactly what you want, and are therefore classed as 'Special Orders'. If you have worked with us on a bespoke Special Order piece, these are not refundable, unless the work is proven to be faulty or substandard.

For bespoke pieces, we take a 50% deposit at the start of the manufacturing process, and the balance due upon completion of the piece. In certain circumstances, work may be halted before the end of this process and balance will not be owed. However, these circumstances are at the discretion of Leonard of London and not guaranteed

shipping
All our pieces are sent in the UK via Royal Mail Special or Recorded Delivery, depending on the value of the pieces. If you would like to change the UK shipping, please contact us before making an order.

For overseas orders, please contact us for a quote - we use international shipping companies to deliver work outside the UK. Wherever possible, we will inform you in advance of the estimated amount of Import Duty that will be owed once your piece arrives in your delivery country.

Please note: This Import Duty amount will be an estimate only, and must not be taken as being the final amount owing.
