This means that all work from us will come with our hallmark, guaranteeing the material is what we say it is.

It is important to look for the hallmark when you are purchasing jewellery, as it's your assurance that you are getting what you pay for. For more information on hallmarking and the Hallmarking Act, click here
What is a Hallmark?
A hallmark is a small, official mark stamped onto a piece of jewellery by a UK Assay Office, confirming the type and purity of the metal, along with details like the maker and year of hallmarking. The mark is either stamped into a piece, or laser engraved, depending on how the piece is made and where the mark needs to be placed.
The UK Hallmarking Act ensures that precious metal jewellery is independently tested and hallmarked to guarantee it meets legal standards of purity. This protects you as a customer, giving confidence that the gold, silver, platinum, or palladium in your jewellery is exactly what it claims to be.

A hallmark has three compulsory marks: a maker's mark, Assay Office mark and metal fineness mark. We have the traditional marks on our work, which shows our makers mark, the London Assay mark, along with the metal fineness symbol and number and the date mark.
If your piece is made from Fairmined metal, we will also apply that mark to the work
